I've been RepRapping for over a year now, taking the crash course of building a Prusa Mendel with LM8UU linear bearings as well as a heated bed and hotend of my own design.

I've spent a great deal of my project time the past two years just getting my printer refined to the point that it's reliable. Finally it's becoming a tool for my projects, and not the project.
