Faster Slicing tutorial:

If you have issues with slicing my STL files for 3d printing, due to their large number of polygons, here is a quick & easy tutorial how to reduce the amount of polygons of any design by 50% while retaining its surface details:
Download Meshlab from here, its free :
sourceforge.net/projects/meshlab/files/
Open my STL file , go to Filters tab --> Remeshing... -->
Quadric Edge Collapse Decimation
Hit the Apply button and you've got 50% less triangles on the model plus a smaller file size as a result.
Save it, Slice it with your open source slicer and Happy Printing !
