Hi, I am Jelle and I work at Protospace. Protospace is a fablab in Utrecht, the Netherlands. We aim to provide easy acces to digital manufacturing techniques, like 3D printer, CNC mills and laser cutters. The Ultimaker 3D printer was developed at our lab, and we do organise workshops where you can build the Ultimaker for yourself with our assistance.
We also do research in this and other fields of 3D printing. One of my pet projects is to transform the Ultimaker into a research 3D, bioprinter, able to print gel-laden cels and thermoplasts.
