I've just ordered an Ultimaker to build with my son as a summer project, and very much looking forward to building it, and then using it. In the meantime I'm exploring 3D modeling appropriate for printing, since I hope to need some skill in that shortly! My crafty hobbies for the past decade have mostly been in the fiber arts.

For the better part of the past 20 years I've supported my toy habits with various technical roles related to networking, mostly technical project management with some engineering and dev management thrown in for spice.
