I'm an avid Maker, Horseman, Internet Technologist and inventor/creator of Things. I've been working in the ISP business since 1992, and have recently devoted my hobby time to Making and Building stuff, mostly from Adafruit Industries and now ServoCity as well. I am totally enamored with my Makerbot Replicator 1-Dual, and am solidly on the bandwagon of the Maker Movement. I also love to play Bethesda Studios video games, and have been a game developer most of my life (which is where I learned 3D modelling in Blender - I never could have imagined then what I am doing with those Blender skills now!). We live at Misty Brae Farm, a US Pony Club Center on 30+ arces in Virginia, where we volunteer and help the owners take care of the 55+ horses and in numerous other ways (My wife owns Mad Mare Studios, and makes horse and rider accessories). My goal is to bring the Maker-movement technology to the horse farm world, and help rural America (or indeed anywhere in the World) leap-frog over some of the technological hurdles that horse farmers face in the 21st century.
