My dad gave me illuminated safety goggles for Christmas this year.

I'm an artist ( 1aura.org ) that teaches robots to paint. And the robots teach me to paint, it's symbiotic. I got a Thing-O-Matic to help me build parts for them and I couldn't be happier with it. It's the most futuristic thing I've ever owned, and I put it together myself. And had a great time doing so. It's allowing me to execute all the ideas that have been sitting around half-baked, and opening doors to all sorts of new ones.

That being said, most of the things I post here have to conform to extant components, so I can't be neighborly and only use metric. But hopefully you can re-conform them to some components of your own.
