Am I an engineer or an artist? Yes, though probably in that order. My doctorate is in aerospace controls, which is the path of my career. 3D design and printing is one of the odd hobbies I enjoy. My designs have been featured in Libre Graphics Magazine, issue 1.4 libregraphicsmag.com and in an exhibition at The Luminary called Recently Possible: Objects of the Future theluminaryarts.com/exhibitions-and-events/recently-possible-objects-of-the-future/. In August 2013 Microsoft hired me into their new 3D printing group, so my job is now to make 3D printing easier for everyone. However, my design work here is still a moonlighting activity, and I intend to continue posting my creations for free.

Most of my ideas were derived at least partially from others' work, and I always love to see more designs derived from mine. I hope you enjoy my creations.
