As an artist I have worked in many different media, but fantasy and humor are key to all of my endeavors. I'm interested in 3D printing as a means of executing an art project I have been planning for quite some time- to build a scale model of Coney Island as it appeared in its heyday in 1907. I have always been fascinated by the fantastical architecture of turn of the century Coney Island when the novelty of electrical lighting was new. As night fell, the magical landscape of spires and minarets was transformed into an otherworldly experience.
