My first 3d printer. XL version, outside box dimensions are 408mm W x 351mm D x 386 H.

I saw you found the XL dxf on the Source make, but I also have a modified dxf for XL using 12mm thick wood. But thingiverse will not take the upload.
Fireflynj thank you for replying! I did find the frame on the source make. But i had to redesign the frame for mine because where I live it's hard to find 12mm thick wood, we use 9mm tops here. If you don't mind me asking do you happen to know the length of the 8mm rods?
The length of the 8mm rods can change if your inside size of your box is different then mine. I figured it out by measuring the items in the cad file 'all' and calculating the the difference for the XL box.
regular : X ~270mm, Y ~ 260, Z ~256 mm
XL = 320, 270, 326
I did as you said and calculated their length. I didn't realize before i had that "all" file. I'm getting close to finishing it, i'll see if I can upload it once it's done. Thank you for your help! By the way, yours is lookin awesome!
Build is in progress. I will share the files and information after I modify a few things that did not line up.
I am using Arduino Mega 2560 with RAMPS 1.4 board, A4988 motor drivers.
The stepper motor test did good.
I installed the Repetier firmware repetier.com, and in the process of configuring it.
using guides at RepRap.org for help.
So far I got to the point the XY and Z movements are good and it homes properly.
Hotend mounted and calibrated.
FYI, the stepper motor drivers from Sainsmart.com has 10k pot and 20k resistor to set the vref making it very hard to make fine adjustments.

I also replaced the hotend with a .5 J-head from hotends.com
the .3 being so small gave me too narrow tolerance of error.
Machine is now running good!, tweaking to better it.
I just got the heatbed hooked up.
I designed a new filament spool holder with smaller diameter, but looks just like what UNIX made. Also, working on making a LCD mount to hang on edge of plywood.
