I am a middle school computer and technology teacher. I am heavily involved in robotics and I am now teaching a pre-engineering curriculum to grow STEM in my school. I teach a class mechatronics and another that studies the engineering process. With the introduction of a loaner MakerBot, we shall now begin implementing the design process into these classes and send students on to high school eager to enter STEM fields of study. With our relationship with NYU-Poly, we aspire to see more students further pursuing this into college and making the U.S., once again, a leader in invention and innovation.
