I'm interested in the design and post occupancy monitoring of very low energy buildings, in particular buildings following the Passive House approach. As a spin-off from this I've been designing and on a couple of occasions installing mechanical ventilation system. Recently I have become interested resilient communities and how specialist equipment (with long supply chains) can be produced locally.
