            <title>Mendel Max frame top spool holder</title>

Brackets use a length of 8mm or 5/16" threaded rod so can be adjusted for different size reels.  <br />
You will also need to make centres for your spools and maybe spacers as well. For the reels shown here I am using these centres <a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:30366" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">thingiverse.com/thing:30366</a> and spacers.

I have a large print bed that rocks in the X direction when printing. By spacing the rods further apart, I hope to stabilize my print surface and possibly create enough space for dual Y-axis motors. From rod center to center is 240mm.
