Zephyr 2 "Battery Bay" to beef up the middle section of your favorite FPV plane. Adds ton of rigidity to the plane, protects both your front section and the batteries in case of a crash and does away with any kind of flex in the middle part of the wing.

I have a CNC machine that I built from buildyourcnc.com/book.aspx. Well it was in my basement for a couple years but never really used it because; 1. debris got everywhere, and 2. it was loud!

So This weekend I brought it up into the garage where I will keep it (maybe it will get more use.)

As right now, it is sitting on the ground, and when I want to mill something, I am going to want to put it outside onto the driveway. But it's heavy!! So I ran to Walmart and found some 2" swivel casters. (I was going to print my own casters but didn't have much time on my side) Now I will be able to roll it out onto the driveway!

I knew I had to make something to allow the caster to mount to my CNC stand ends. That is where I came up with this design. I made the holes smaller to be able to tap them.


Designed to rest underneath the CNC itself, I added a bolt to secure the mount(1/4-20).

A common problem Replicator 2 owners have reported is a warped acrylic build plate. Many Makerbot Operators have created replacement build plates out of glass, stone, metal, or synthetic material. I have posted a .DXF file of the build plate profile for use in a CNC mill, Lasercutter, or waterjet cutter or similar device. Personally I had a build plate water jet cut from black granite (my employer owns this device otherwise it may not be cost-effective). The result is beautiful but as yet untested, will update with results. I'm posting this for anyone who wants to try and cut new materials for use in a build plate and wants to save the couple of minutes it would take to do the measurements and generate this drawing.

After racking up some experience points for using a 3D printer I decided to revisit my sentry model. The first model was, to say the least, embarrassing, so I have attempted to redeem myself by making this one.

I have managed to make just about every mechanism that moves in the game, move in real life. It has taken hours and hours to design and about 3 days of printing, painting and assembling to make. But the finished product is, epic, if I do say so myself.

This is a dispenser from the popular online free to play game - TF2.

I do not yet have my printer so I cannot test it but the model is manifold and I have looked at the layers and it seems like it will print fine. I'm sure you guys will be better at making it print well than me.

I may/will be adding some tools and ammo to go in the draw at the bottom as shown in many pictures of the model.

In the downloads there is an exported STL, the sketchup source file and another sketchup file that I painted to give an idea of what it could look like.

this is a smaller reel holder for the replicator 2. my smaller spools did not fit on the stock reel holder.

A general purpose 2" c-clamp utilizing a M8x50mm bolt.

The frame of the clamp was downloaded from a public CAD library and modified to house the matching M8 nut to accompany the bolt.

There is a swivel pad threaded to the end of the bolt which required support material for my built. Once the support was disolved, the two halves of the swivel were gently seperated with a pair of pliers.

This is a modification to Theidd's funnel that I made so that it would funnel birdseed into a bottle-based bird feeder. The hole is MUCH larger, and I removed the hanging loop. It should work well on sand and other powders.

These trophies were designed and printed for MVB Bergschenhoek.

MVB organizes races for radio controlled cars in the 1:10 electric off-road discipline of rc-racing.

The trophies are the 2011 championship trophies in each of the 5 race classes (2WD, 4WD, SC-2WD, SC-4WD and Sportsman).
