A simple Heart Hugger, now when valentine is coming up. It shows the simplicity of LOVE.

I tried to make it, so it required the least amount of support, I'm unsure about the hands and the edge around the heart and fingers though.

I was practicing doing some modelling in Blender and made a unicorn for a friend..

I wanted to display a "ShutUp&Hack" as during the UnlimitedDesignContest ( flic.kr/s/aHsjvcr15A ), didn't had the file and can't find something like that on thingiverse or the web...

So I remade it quickly :)

This is a TinTin-Cartoon-Style Rocket for 3D printing. It was inspired by the thing thingiverse.com/thing:4509 by twotimes. It is not a derivate since it was completely rebuilt/drawn from scratch (nevertheless was it inspired by the version published by twotimes which is a really nice and large model).
My aim was to make it really easy to assemble and print. It consists of 12 printed parts only and just one threaded rod and two nuts are necessary to assemble.

Biggest part (max. spred x/y/z): 67mm/75mm/55mm
Threaded rod dimensions: M3 x 125mm
Nuts: 1x M3 Nylock / 1x M3 standard nut

Hint:
Scale all parts by factor 1.272727 to get a M4 Version - will be 204mm high and use a M4 rod of 159mm and M4 nuts. Should still be printable on a makerbot (largest spread of foot-part will be 97.5mm). You will perhaps like to redrill the holes for the m4 rod with a 4.2mm drill (or lightly rework with a round file) for easy assembly...

It is a Snurtle! It's a pet monster decoration. It has no funcitons, but to look good :D

I made it for the 3D artist/Makerbot contest. Please comment and give me advice or new creative ideas for another model :D

So, I wanted to learn OpenSCAD, and what better way than to take MakerBlock's wonderful paramaterized pirate ship and poop all over its code?
This hasn't actually been printed yet, but should theoretically work fine on an ultimaker or other PLA. The top of the bottle will be interesting. This is a WIP, I will be refactoring the code and tweaking the design. Right now, the top of the bottle doesn't properly render in CGAL.

Each person must time their actions specifically, and operate their portion of the device with care.

This device was made to be a performance at a local art-event. Its operation is (of course) far from convenient, but it does type out the most true thing I have ever known.

A friend (Ken) at work goes every year and wants to show it on his badge leash.

If you have a day job most likley you have to wear a badge and one of these leash things so I decided to dress mine up a little with a snap on cover, I've started with a deadmau5 logo and plan to add more designs so I can change it with my mood for the day.

This is a model of Bacteriophage T7, a model organism in genetics that has
been used for decades in labs. Through studying the behaviour of T7, we have
learned enormous amounts of information on basic genetics of bacteria. In times
gone by, elegant experiments with T7 helped us to map the E.coli genome, in the
days before we could just "read" the DNA with sequencing techniques.

These days, T7 doesn't get nearly as much attention, but it's still an incredible
micro-organism; a futuristic, spaceship-shaped virus that can lie in wait for generations
hidden in the genome of an unsuspecting E.coli cell, awaiting the day that it erupts
into infectious disease.

After taking a picture of a bird on my corgi (http://www.thingiverse.com/derivative:20620) I thought maybe I should put corgis on things instead.

Spruce it up! Make it pretty! Now you can put a bird on anything! Print out a bird and add it to your extruder or a toolbox! Use the stencil to make a sad tote bag happy! Did you see this tote bag before? I didn't.

While playing with my Moon Rover tread, I found it zipped into itself pretty well. This is an adjusted version that can zip into both sides. It's flexible in several dimensions and easily layered. It's quite fun, and I'm curious what uses or interesting shapes you all can come up with for it.

A fancy lamp with room to add your own wiring to.

Improvements since the prototype:
1) Split up into four parts to allow for larger printing. Assumes a max build height of 8.5-9ish cm.
2) Base parts have threading so they just screw together. Top part is now printed upside-down to give it a nicer exterior surface.
3) Holes for wiring and adding switches.

LED light Guide

This will fit on a standard LED.

Any image can be added to the light guide and the image will light up when the LED is ON.

Similar to a small edge lit sign.

The Penrose tiles by pleppik got me thinking and I decided they would be cooler if they held together on their own. The snap shapes enforce the matching rules (as long as all the pieces are right-side up), which means any pattern you make out of them will be aperiodic.

I used the Guitar Cookie Cutter to make this Guitar model.
