In marine form! Anyone who's played the Starcraft/Starcraft II campaign knows him! And for those who don't know him, he is the main character of Starcraft and Starcraft 2. I got this model by importing raynor.m3 with Blender and exporting (This requires a plugin).

1000 Unique Snowflakes

These are the first 1000 generated snowflakes from thingiverse.com/thing:37525 "Blizzard Of Unique Snowflakes".

It took probably 3 days with 4 parallel processes on a quad core machine to generate all of these so I figured I'd share!

Note: These were generated at 0.5mm tall rather than the script's default 2.0 mm. They can be easily scaled with Repetier-host or something similar if you want the full 2.0mm.

One of my USB sticks had a cover that broke open, so I made this! It's a from thingiverse.com/thing:17656, cleaned up, modified slightly, and smoothed in Blender. There's a hole in the top half of the model for fitting the innards of a USB stick, and the bottom half slips over the USB plug to form a cap.

The USB stick sticks out slightly in the back, but I didn't want to slide the top half of the model forward because of stability reasons. I might make another version with the USB stick positioned slightly forward - I didn't do that originally because the walls were a bit thin in that position, but I'm sure with some modifications it could be made to work.
