I got this at Obscura Antiques obscuraantiques.com in NYC. ( because I'm a huge fan of the show Oddities dsc.discovery.com/tv/oddities ) I went looking for something I could do a 3D scan of and print on my MakerBot. This was the creepiest, cheapest thing I could find that I thought would scan well. It also made me laugh when I pulled the string and found the mouth still moved.

It appears to be a 1930's Walt Disney Dopey Dwarf from Snow White, see: royaleaffairdolls.com/Repairs.html

I scanned it with Spinscan thingiverse.com/thing:9972 Which now supports color textured scans. The dimensions are still a little off causing scans to be squashed slightly... Math is hard. Let's go shopping!

_-_-_-_-_-_ M-O-U-S-E...C-O-O-K-I-E-S. With my Thing-o-Matic finally on order I thought it was time I started looking into making my own model. This is my first model for 3D printing. Everything seems to checkout in ReplicatorG so I believe this should be printable.

Well, I'm not sure what to say about this. Its the head of Walt Disney. You can print it. You can play with it. You can even put it on a robot and have said robot storm through a major metropolitan area and cause havoc. Just don't make it Brooklyn, thx. ;)
