I wanted to attach a strap to my ukulele, but it didn't have a peg for a strap! Fortunately I went to NYCResistor's Blender class, and designed one I could use. Then I came back to SLC and printed it out in our RepRap. SCORE.

I made these for Annelies' and my wedding in October. They're made to be attached to little plastic bags with Texas pecans in them, but they can also be used for window ornaments.

This googly eye organizing center is designed to work with 3cm X 3cm X6cm acryllic googly eye boxes available at the Container Store (and probably elsewhere.) Keep your anthropomorphization tools organized and close at hand.

A display rack for showing off flat things, like cards or tinysaur kits. Generated using Python! Will post the source soon.

For reasons unknown to me, the tines don't render properly in QCAD (or the preview here), but they show up fine in Corel. Probably a mysterious DXF formatting issue.

To generate your own size displays using the python script:
edit the various dimensions in the script (its set for mm), then run it. It will save two files, displayside.dxf and displaysign.dxf

A Tangram style puzzle set. Assemble the pieces in such a way that they fit inside the puzzle's boundry. The top set is harder than the bottom set.

A three piece acrylic binary clock powered by Arduino and the DC1307 real time clock.

A birdhouse that I designed over the course of a couple of hours. The entrance has a circular diameter of 1.5". I have no idea if this is actually practical for birds. I just wanted to relive my high school shop class experience.

This version is for 1/8" thick acrylic, rather than 1/4", and half the height. A single 12"x12" stock will get you two complete nave sections, i.e. eight times the Gothy goodness of the original.

Isn't multiplication fun?

Two tree ornaments can be made from this design: one big, one small. Different layouts could be used to make unique shapes. Different colored acrylic can be used to make the candy cane look.

12 5-sided polygons that fit together to form a dodecahedron. This is probably the smallest buckyball that you could realistically make. There a solid version, and a "wired version", which is way way easier to put together. This is to mess with you geometry-lovers out there.

Try #3, trying to avoid a fill on the big rectangle.

This didn't render correctly on the Thingiverse site, and Firefox 3 doesn't handle the text area quite right either. However, it did import into Corel Draw, although we had to fix the sign part. I'm going to try to fix the file a little more and reupload.
