a christmas tree decoration.

This is a Triforce inspired necklace pendant. Easy to print, easy to wear.

If you have a day job most likley you have to wear a badge and one of these leash things so I decided to dress mine up a little with a snap on cover, I've started with a deadmau5 logo and plan to add more designs so I can change it with my mood for the day.

This is a model of Bacteriophage T7, a model organism in genetics that has
been used for decades in labs. Through studying the behaviour of T7, we have
learned enormous amounts of information on basic genetics of bacteria. In times
gone by, elegant experiments with T7 helped us to map the E.coli genome, in the
days before we could just "read" the DNA with sequencing techniques.

These days, T7 doesn't get nearly as much attention, but it's still an incredible
micro-organism; a futuristic, spaceship-shaped virus that can lie in wait for generations
hidden in the genome of an unsuspecting E.coli cell, awaiting the day that it erupts
into infectious disease.

A fancy lamp with room to add your own wiring to.

Improvements since the prototype:
1) Split up into four parts to allow for larger printing. Assumes a max build height of 8.5-9ish cm.
2) Base parts have threading so they just screw together. Top part is now printed upside-down to give it a nicer exterior surface.
3) Holes for wiring and adding switches.

LED light Guide

This will fit on a standard LED.

Any image can be added to the light guide and the image will light up when the LED is ON.

Similar to a small edge lit sign.

Regular star polygons and star figures of arbitrary sizes, number of sides, skipped vertices per side and subfigures (for compound star figures). They came as OpenSCAD modules in three flavours: conventional, solid and contoured.

These stars make a nice ornament and can be used as building blocks for other figures.

After several years of a relationship as well as lots of research, reading, designing and several rounds of prototypes it is time for a big decision to be made. Here is the engagement ring I presented to my intended recently as well as a brief description of it and the design process.

The design is based on a Tiffany Etoile Solitaire Ring and features a 0.31C internally flawless round brilliant Tolkowsky cut Fancy Intense Blue (Boron Doped) Cultured Diamond set in a flared semi-bezel crown of 950 Platinum-Iridium on a D-shaped "Court" Band of 950 Palladium-Ruthenium.

It seems most goldsmiths & jewellers I talked to prefer not to work with Palladium, multiple-metals, custom designs, stones they have not purchased themselves, cultured diamonds or non-white diamonds. This design features all of these so getting a goldsmith who would work with me on this project was tough and it was barely finished in time. Getting the diamond was also a challenge, as it was held up in customs for several weeks leaving very little time for the goldsmith to actually make the ring. In spite of this the end product had excellent workmanship and looked fantastic!

As a side note, the pictures don't do the stone justice, it is really sparkly and appears a deep blue in bright light.

Wanted the Deer to leave a new fruit tree alone, so, attachable eyes.

OK, its been a few weeks and NO deer on that side of the house. Seems they heard about this evolving Urban legend.

A safe and convenienent place to 'park' your valuable Headphones. The Hook clips to a shelf board (up to 20mm thick) and has room for one set of 'phones. The cable can be wrapped around the two posts on the side.

So, I designed and made this ornament for a contest at my local 3D-printing group meeting last month (and won an MBI Dynamo kit!).

Christmas is unfortunately over for this season, but thought I'd share it with the world anyway.

Note: of the 4 top/bottom pieces, the two taller ones are both for the top. You should be able to tell the orientation by looking at the curvature.

OK Folks, my apologies for not getting this out before Christmas Day, but I was, you know, Resolving Issues.

This is the solution for the late, forgetful, busy, or uninspired gift giver. Good ol' cash is always welcome, and this provides a cool way to present it and show off your 3D printing prowess.

The ellipse is sized to match the portrait on recent US currency. There is a slot at the bottom for sliding in a folded bill (or two or three), and an attachment point at the top for a hanger hook.

I couldn't find a Steno machine on Thingiverse, so I made one myself. Was aiming for something like the Procat Flash, but it ended up looking a bit Xscribe - OK, not as ugly as Xscribe :)

Uses - Key chain pendant, fridge magnet, Christmas decoration...

This is a quick print self standing Christmas Tree. I wanted to give a present to the world and I thought that this would be a good gift.

A somewhat understated addition to your Christmas Tree.

Snowflake for Christmas Tree

This snowflake can be used to hang on your Christmas tree, door, window, on your desk lamp or wherever a snowflake is needed.

Print with a 0.35mm nozzle gives good results - didn't test it with a 0.5mm nozzle.

Some details removed to quicken the slicing and printing (also 2mm -> 0,7mm to use only 1-2 layers).
