I've created this little pet monster for the 3D Artist contest with Valentine's day in mind.

Base included, if you'd like to use it.

I don't own a 3d printer so I'm not sure if everything is as it should be.

This is a mash-up of Nophead's heart shaped box, and TBuser's OpenSCAD bitmap font.

This OpenSCAD file allows you to cut, or extruded, a small message on the lid and/or the box. It requires the STLs from Nophead's Heart Shaped Box ( thingiverse.com/thing:61 ), and TBuser's OpenSCAD bitmap font ( thingiverse.com/thing:2054 ). I also scaled up the box a bit to support two lines x 4 characters.

Of course, some pieces of the 'cut' letters won't come out (like the center of the 'o'), but the message should still get across...

I'm getting married!!! Our guests get a piece of cake. But on every decent cake, there should be a cake topper! I wanted a personal cake topper. While looking on the Google 3D warehouse I found several, but none were satisfactory. I wanted a simpler model that was solid and which had a personal touch. The result is this (parametric) model with the following modules: bride, groom, arm, leg and hat. Everything is made from spheres, cylinders and cubes, as you can see in the exploded view.

The groom, without the hat is really a generic 'man' figure. So you can reuse it and tweak the orientation of the arms and legs.

Inspired by the Ear Shaped Cookie Cutter I decided to make a Heart shaped one. I make a tapered design for the cutter so it is thinner at the bottom. It is scaled to 89mm wide and 77mm tall and 28mm in depth.

This is a Ring Generator. It generates rings with embossed 2D shapes according to the parameters given. The embossed shape can be given by a unit-sized and centred dxf file.

Hoeken's original DXF file got corrupted when I tried to open it in Blender, so I just traced over the profile with native geometry, which was a lot easier to do anyway.

I'm actually quite terribly interested in getting infill on DXFs to work though-- we could turn a whole lot of lasercut designs into 3D printable ones if we had a reliable method for that...

After seeing several other cups and glasses (a couple of "wine glasses" actually being Martini glasses), I tossed together one of my own to add. A full size white wine glass. I haven't got my machine up and running yet, so this hasn't been tested, and due to the size might not be feasible for everyone. So, if you manage to make one, please let me know what you think and I'll integrate feedback into future designs.
