A co-worker has a Traxxas JATO 3.3 radio controlled race car. He broke one of the struts and has ideas to make a custom setup. I worked with him for about an hour to sketch this up. It hasn't been printed yet but looks promising.

Notice the "JC" for his initials built into the structure. 3D Printing for the win!

There is a support peg included to hold the ball joint up. I suggested just using a bolt through a real ball joint, but the customer insisted we try it. Clip the support off and round off as needed.

This is a replacement garbage piece for the board game "Power Grid" by Friedmann Friese and Rio Grande Games.
I modelled this after the weird plutonium containers from "Back to the Future." These would look great if it were possible to print the outer cylinder in clear PVA and the inner in red, but I haven't the ability to do so.

I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out but would love to know more on how to give it a flat bed to sit on and remove the makeshift ramp that was left from the table being included in the scan. I've included the .obj file that I got from the software and the only editing I did was removing the extra furniture and parts of the table in Meshmixer (very new to this).

In any case you can print your own Perry and keep him close. If you do I'd love to see a picture of him in your natural habitat!

Someone I know is hand-making a game that uses hexagonal pieces. They are using epoxy modelling clay and other miniature figure making materials. When I saw they were cutting the bases by hand I offered to print simple plastic bases for them or make a convenient hexagon "cookie-cutter" so that they would line up with each other better. These pieces are 33mm along a side or 66mm from two opposite points... so they are smaller than Catan pieces (which are 45mm on a side and 90mm across BTW), however as the script is parametric it could be modified to make compatible tiles.

Othuyeg is one of the Great Old Ones from the horros of lovecraft. A giant tentacled eyeball that is related to many of the other Lovecraftian gods, chosen to be the next of the set because... well... giant tentacled eyeball, that's why.

This set is designed to be desktop figures or re-sized to be a suitable replacement for simple pawns in your favorite board games. Print off a whole set to add a touch of madness to any game.

This is a remake of the bunny trouble game, which had some hard time printing for me due to the angle of the ears. Also, I wanted the bunny to be a but more chunky in relation to the hex base.

A simple Heart Hugger, now when valentine is coming up. It shows the simplicity of LOVE.

I tried to make it, so it required the least amount of support, I'm unsure about the hands and the edge around the heart and fingers though.

I chose a garbage can, since the stock piece is a octagonal cylinder, reminiscent of such.

Painted a toy tank for wargaming and it clearly needed gattling cannons.

It's another little pet monster for the 3D Artist contest and it's supposed to be a decoration item.

I don't own a 3d printer so I'm not sure if everything is as it should be. Please let me know if there are issues with this model, I'll try to fix it.

I guess my eyes were bigger than my build platform.. I created this for the Replicator then realized it was way too big. It will fit at 1/2 scale though.

This set has been scaled to fit on the build platform of the Thing-O-Matic (It's 1/4 scale of the original)

This object was created in OpenScad (inkscape to make some of the shapes). I drew it by looking at pictures, so the scale is probably not all that accurate.

This is a TinTin-Cartoon-Style Rocket for 3D printing. It was inspired by the thing thingiverse.com/thing:4509 by twotimes. It is not a derivate since it was completely rebuilt/drawn from scratch (nevertheless was it inspired by the version published by twotimes which is a really nice and large model).
My aim was to make it really easy to assemble and print. It consists of 12 printed parts only and just one threaded rod and two nuts are necessary to assemble.

Nuts: 1x M3 Nylock / 1x M3 standard nut

Hint:
Scale all parts by factor 1.272727 to get a M4 Version - will be 204mm high and use a M4 rod of 159mm and M4 nuts. Should still be printable on a makerbot (largest spread of foot-part will be 97.5mm). You will perhaps like to redrill the holes for the m4 rod with a 4.2mm drill (or lightly rework with a round file) for easy assembly...
