I designed these for my daughter's Pirates vs Ninjas b-day party. It is pretty easy to find pirate party favors, not so much with the ninjas.
These are about 1mm thick, so as to be safe, print fast and use little plastic.

I sketched this out in SketchUp today and thought I would share. I took my influences from Sal Buscema, Michael Golden and Butch Guice on the direction of the render as well as the original toy designed by Bing McCoy.

Wife wanted some. I made some.

These were made in SketchUp. The mistletoe hasn't been printed, but the holly has, and it is a bit odd, but doable.

Been watching Gurren Lagann, so I made this today on my Thing-O-Matic for my youngsters. I matched the actual image more than making a threaded cone. This was printed in glow in the dark ABS and the chrome/silver was painted on with a paint pen. The drill bit snaps into the base. It took about and hour and a half to print with a 50% fill. It has not been sanded or touched up at all... didn't even cut off the burrs.

Remembering the fir trees tc_fea created early in the year, I figured this could be applied to hair. So, I did this little experiment. This is one of my TCad spheres, 12mm wide with a slightly Brainiac looking face added to it, with no mouth. The results look as though the hair may be blowing in the wind. It seems this would work much better on a larger scale head. This experiment, for me, is a success. Feel free to play with the source file on TinkerCad (listed below) to see what was done to get this effect.

I needed a new phone stand. The one I designed for my Samsung Moment just doesn't work well with my HTC EVO 3D.

The bump out is to stop the speaker from being covered up despite which way the phone may be oriented. Plus, it adds a little style to it, instead of just an easel, or podium for my phone.

This is just a 12mm sphere. What's the big deal? Well, I made it in TinkerCad and TinkerCad does not have a sphere tool... yet. No, it is not perfect, but it may be usable. No, I haven't printed it out yet, as it looks like I need a new extruder board. But, once I have one and am back up and running this is early on my list.

Wanted to make another one. Despite the inspiration sketch, this was inspired more by old tin robots, TV and my Dad's old portable reel to reel.

This one is pretty tiny compared to the last one, but it is all in one plate... except for the pegs.

This one was made entirely in TinkerCad. I just imported it into SketchUp for another preview pic.

I know there have been several D6 over time on here, but I have been meaning to do this for some time. Having played Gamma World last night for the first time in about 30 years, I felt the push to go on with this. (Timey whimey!)

I based this design on the set of ivory dice my Dad had when I was a kid. (I am pretty sure I am responsible for their loss.) The ivory die had different size holes cut into them to account for the balance of the die. The 1 had a large hole, the 6 had small holes. (The sizes on mine are pure guess work. Sorry, no math to ensure they are actually correct in their volume.) I also made sure this followed the standard practice on die where the opposite sides of a die add up to the largest side +1 in number. So, and two opposite sides on a D6 should add up to 7.

This die is oversized at 25mm, just about an inch.

A niche that just needed to be filled. You will need to scale it up or down to fit your cell phone. (Sorry, no holes in the grid, as I made it in SketchUp and it just wasn't having it. I welcome someone taking this from here and running with it.)
