I have wanted to print this for over a year, but it took forever to fix and I finally started over. The file came from Google 3D warehouse goo.gl/b6hCb and their licensing is very vague.

It's a wide angle pinhole lens designed for Canon EF mount.

I was going to buy a Black and Decker snakelight so I could light up my dimly lit work area. But since I had an LED flashlight, I decided to just make a stand for it. It's four pieces, and you need to supply a 1/4-20 bolt and nut.

These are Space Invaders plugs for people with stretched lobes. I modified sideburn's existing invaders to be thinner and smaller, then glued them to plugs that I made in Google SketchUp.

This is a box to hold the Parallax PIR sensor.

There are plenty of options for a manual Z axis adjustment knob for a cupcake, but I haven't seen one for a mendel yet. I'm still getting my mendel up and running but wanted to manually move the Z up and down a bit.

My Makerbot CNC aka "DemonDust" is the Queen ant, and a Queen ant produces the soldiers on the "front line". The Makerbot Defender is designed and built to protect as a soldier, just as in nature a soldier ant protects a well structured colony all working as one unstoppable force.

One of the best pre-designed ideas for the MakerBot Defender,it is upgradeable. The mounted cannon and Infrared camera just slide right out of the main body panel. Making it possible to design anything and replace existing features.

This is loosely based on a desing from an instructable I found to create a paper catapult. "http://www.instructables.com/id/Launch-It:-The-Paper-Catapult." I've modified the design some. Hopefully this will scale and print ok, I don't have any way to test it at the present.

This derivative of the Mendel frame vertex part has the option in the SCAD file of having a foot. The default file has one. I've oversized the holes slightly so that even people with wonky printers in development stand a chance of having a part they can use directly without having to ream the M8 holes out.

Using vertices with feet helps prevent the Z gears and drive hitting the table or objects that have rolled under the Mendel.

Its a mousetrap derived from the venus fly trap. The principle is simple: Mouse steps on a plate, mouse falls down in the chamber, the trap closes above the mouse, thus trapping the mouse inside.

Just a nifty little knob I made for our TS808 effects class @hive76. Fits on most standard audio potentiometers.

So this is a project I've been thinking about trying out with my robotics club here at Tufts. I played with sumobots a while back in highschool but it turned out to be sort of boring because everyone was using the same kit robot and the same code. The Makerbot is a game changer here. The ability to totally customize a sumobot from the ground up with relatively little effort is awesome. I can't wait to see whole Makerbot sumobot tournaments.

Full disclosure.... this is a relatively difficult print and really pushes the limits of the build size. My makerbot was up to the challenge of the 2.5hr print and resulted in only minor warping but it was definitely a little stressful to watch.

I'm working on another (maybe better, maybe worse) version with multiple parts that slot together which would ensure more uniformity across makerbots.

For those whole like to ban things, this is a printed speldge hammer with the word BAN reversed out of the face.

After having some difficulties with the Plastruder MK3 which comes with the MakerBot, I decided to try to print a better (i.e. more reliable) extruder with and for my MakerBot.

The design was inspired by the "Thermoplast Extruder Version 2.0" from the RepRap project and by photos I saw of Nophead's "Fast extruder" .
