So important in fact that a device was invented which enabled you to attach a mouthpiece to a trumpet in a way that it enables the player to buzz while holding the trumpet in an accustomed fashion. The original device is called the "Berp". This is my attempt to recreate it for all the 3d-printing brass players out there.
Although cookies can still be made using a hollow-walled cutter, indeed it is better to have a solid one. The wall thickness of this version is slightly thinner so skeinforge will make two layers which are close enough to fuse together, making it thin but sturdy.

The top is now open so it's easier to get the dough out. I've made a bunch of cookies to prove it works. Good stuff to test the Frostruder on if you ask me....

My attempts have failed thus far because cookies expand in the oven. (Expansion = good for cookies but bad for Escher-like designs)

Duralex Picardie Tumbler Glass

While it was printing, I turned to Google to find more information on the glass. It seems that it was designed in 1927 and described as "...the ultimate drinking vessel created by man, and of its type cannot be improved." ( patricktaylor.com/duralex-picardie )

I also found out that the Duralex factory almost closed a few years ago. Modelling and printing objects like this can save shapes from extinction in the future.
