When we saw the card, we needed to make a few for our selves.

Now the guys here never leave to see a customer without a sample card in their pockets. Yes, all the gears turn.

Had to redo the card back file as it omitted the sun gear, also resubmitted the ring gear as it was corrupted.

Niftymitter is an open source short range FM transmitter based on the open source hardware design by Tetsuo Kogawa.

Version 0.1 is designed to be housed within a 3mm acrylic or bamboo body, with a variety of options for hacking. The transmitter is tiny and handy for small scale radio broadcasts, building a distributed PA system for performances, linking your personal audio player to your car radio, or for general audio experimentation.

I am currently working on v0.21 which is a bit of a radical redesign, so v0.1 is posted for completeness.

ISSUES in v0.1:
- too bulky
- acrylic prone to failure at corners
- cable tie construction troublesome - not very secure, ends tend to catch on things.

A calling card with working planetary gears. Astound your friends, frustrate your nemisii.

(Update: I've moved the gears slightly to the right, reducing the number of cut parts to assemble.)

It's a geared calling card! Two slots in the top layer display different information as you turn the smaller gear, and a little window lets you watch the gears mesh.

Built to take a Microsoft webcam and mount it at a convenient angle for barcode scanning. May add LEDs for consistent lighting if necessary.
