I like where ianjohnson is going with his winder project but it is built around using his spool design and I have tons of the 50mm hub spools laying around. (The same type that MBI sells) So I made a solution to print everything needed. You just need 3 608 bearings and some threaded rod and nuts. The gear is compatible with ianjohnson winder. The gear has a bearing on both ends and the cap has a bearing. The knob which is thingiverse.com/thing:3723 has been shorten so the nut sticks out the bottom and won't rub the cap while it spins.Making the whole assembly spin while clamping the spool in the holder. Easy on - easy off.

So I made a new version of the hopper funnel. I didn't like how it fitted to the hopper and how thin the whole structure was. This version has thicker walls to match the strength of the hopper. It also has a recess and lip to hold the hopper firmly and give you a solid glue surface. I also curved the inside and top edge to keep the pellets flowing downward with gravity. You can print it with no support structure and remove the one I put in when your done. All of the external measurements are still the same.

This holds a 2.5x4" badge. I'm competing in Robogames and my badge was ripped right at the hole for the lanyard so I made this to hold my badge and help protect it from getting ripped off again.

I've seen nema 17 mounts and none had a solution to really clamp it on so I made this version with a clamp design and nema 23 sized.

I'm working on building a giant 6ft x 4ft laser cutter and I needed a cable chain solution for the X axis which needs a way to elevate and mount the chain on the moving assembly and a stationary mount for the beam piece itself.

I have been using the minimalistic MK8 on my Replicator for a long time now and it's been perfect so I've converted it into a Bowen extruder. It uses the same bolt pattern for mounting as the airtripper extruder as well as the same bolt retention for the PTFE tubing.

This box holds everyhting RAMP's 1.4 and has spare room in the bottom for extra wires.

A simple laser cut plate to hold two reel rollers from Airtripper Pocket Filament Reel Rollers. Adjustable.

Using 5/16 Fiberglass rods from Tap Plastics I modified the Rostock Rod end's to fit inside and bond with Epoxy.

The original box was nice but didn't fit the Smart Adaptor and had a few glitches.

I was originally going to cut the Printrbot Spool Stand but it was nowhere close to what I wanted. They are using clip in wood parts to hold the bearings and the bearing are not supported from the inside. Also it doesn't fit 8" spools like the ones Makerbot uses. So this will hold 8" full spools and fully support the weight and spin freely. It also prevents the spool from sliding off and jamming. Another nice feature is that you can tie multiple units side by side without the spools touching. Perfect for multiextrusion or just holding all of your filaments ready to feed into your printer.

People have seen the front of their HBP sag almost 2mm after 30 minutes. Before this modification I was getting 1.8mm sag after 30 minutes and now .45mm sag after 30 minutes.

This is to go along with the (unofficial) Replicator XL. The hood from thingiverse.com/thing:23386 will work with thr RepXL but the sides and front are different.

Very simple mod of garyacrowellsr Fan guard that allows you to use 5trange0ne fan mount so you can have two fans for cooling PLA on the Replicator.

This mounts with a 40mm fan and fits a 3" dryer tube.

I designed these to hold the front panel for thingiverse.com/thing:23386 but then as I thought about it I made it do so much more.

Use this simple mask to apply Kapton tape to you HBP.

This made be the simplest design ever on thingiverse but damn if its not helpful.

All the webcam holders didn't seem to get the whole bed in the shot and I wanted a direct head on shot of the build.

I combined the best of two worlds

I took the mounting hole from thingiverse.com/thing:23257 that uses the Pittsburgh (Harbor Freight 93295) Digital Indicator and I modified thingiverse.com/thing:27025 to hold it. Nothing more and nothing less.

Along the same line as my Replicator hood kit I've now made a ToM version. This helps keep the heat in and prevent drafts from messing up your prints. It has a long gap down the center to allow air to escape and allow filament in and out. I also set the height to 6" which is plenty of room no matter what extruder your rocking on your ToM.

On the hood you will notice a 1" square hole in each corner. These are there for anything you may want to add. For example a filament brush or guide.

Some people have noticed that the orginal clips were wiggling loose so I added some roud knobs to the inside of the clips to help give them some bite when putting them on.

This includeds the hinges and laser cut parts to make a front door solution for your makerbot Replicator

Someone on the replicator google group mentioned they wanted more cooling for their MB. I think it might be overkill but here it is.

Get organized with your replicator. This will hold 4 spools of plastic plus a little toolbox on the front for all your accesories.

If you feel the need to clean up your space and make your replicator a more organized space then this is the solution for you.

I modified the dimensions to use 3mm Acrylic so it could be cheaper and faster to cut. I wanted to modify it so people could use hacker spaces and places like techshop laser cutters. Even at 40W you can still cut this in a single pass.
