This is a replacement part for what for the lack of a better name, I will call a mop holder roller.

The old one split in two and we have several of these things in our pantry and rather than buying something new and drilling new holes, I thought I would test my skill on Sketchup.

I took my handy digital caliper, priceless when replicating parts, and took measurements off the broken one. I exported from Sketchup and ran the STL through Netfabb studio to make sure it was clean.

This is a scan of a Buffalo skull (American Bison) that was done with a Microsoft Kinect for Windows and ReconstructmeQT software.

I am uploading several versions of the files. One is the full scan, the other is the skull and horns in separate files.

I've uploaded OBJ files, STL files, and Makerware Thing files.

I am a backer of the Photon 3D scanner on Indiegogo. The guys doing the project are publishing scans each day, some have been published to Thingiverse by Photon_Adam. I took a file they provided and had some fun with it in Meshmixer. I am no expert but it is pretty neat how you can take a scan and then modify it.

Now that I received my replacement Mightyboard for my Replicator, I am going to print it this weekend.

In the photos, the green ones are from the original scan, the gray ones are for the files I uploaded. I loaded two versions that are identical except one has the bottom slightly trimmed to flatten it.

I don't know if it will need external support, or not. Give it a shot!

My brother has a pool vacuum that has several wheels held in place by two part clips. They keep breaking. It's a salt water pool. Replacements cost something like $15 for four of them. Being a captive market, they can get away with it. Not any more, I designed a replacement pin and retainer ring for him.

Replacement drive gear for Maxifab or Maxifab XL

XYM module for Maxifab 3D printer. X motor version. This is a replacement for the multipart lasercut assembly that comes with the kit. I had to make this part after a plywood part broke that holds the belt bearings after I put it together and took it apart multiple times.

It's real simple, this is just an easy to use 1 cup measure pet food cup for our dog. It assures a constant daily amount of food, 1 in the AM, 1 in the PM to keep him lean and happy.

I am always having to twist the small hose for my Shop Vac all round the handles to keep it neat. I designed this to fit the Shop Vac and hold the hose with or without its extensions

I had destroyed a "Gripper" on my BD Workmate and decided to make a replacement. I ended up with two versions, one almost identical to the original and a second one with some reinforcements.

This is a stand for holding your tablet computer at a nice angle in portrait or landscape mode. I designed it for a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet but it also works for a iPad 2.

Small pendant that prints quickly, I designed it in Sketchup in about 20 minutes to go on the ring for a new set of keys for a scooter. It prints quickly without a raft.

This is an attempt at designing a piggy bank for coins. It is hollow and roughly 5"x5"x5". The slot at the top should handle up to a quarter. Coins can be shaken out but it intentionally does not have a way to open it other than cutting it open. Alternatively it could be done in PLA and buried and allowed to be a coin cache after it dissolves.
