The advantage over the original is that you only need one small flat on the motor shaft, rather than two full length ones that have to be filed to exactly the right size.<br />

Can be used for all three axes.

It is simply the original pulleys and rims with the pulleys built on top of the lower rim to save build area.<br />

MBC has also uploaded a fully integrated version <a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1936" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">thingiverse.com/thing:1936</a> but that requires a 45 degree overhang, which is tricky to print.
