The Microscopic Martian Mollusc is a muscular creature…if you can call a microscopic animal muscular.

This little guy used to roam the seas of mars, when the planet was still young…and global warming had not set in yet.

It's main food source was Crimson Krill…which are even smaller little creatures!

It's spiny exterior shell protects it from the larger predators, such as the vortex fish and the spiny aggregate (which was a large ball of spines that roamed near the bottom, with a great huge jaw for swallowing up the smaller creatures)

There are 6 flagella on its bottom which help in locomotion. If one is bitten off, another magically grows back.

A customized Nokia Lumia 820 shell, with a generated nautilus pattern embossed onto the back! I want to print this out using Shapeways, in real plastic and ... gold?

I have done my best to make this as open as possible, so attached is the original pattern and solidworks file that I used to generate this shell.

This design was an offshoot of a custom design my friend wanted me to produce for him.

Using Processing, you can use iterative mathematics to generate all sorts of forms for 3d printing. This is a work in progress, that only generates 2d templates - which you can import into a CAD program for thickening and then 3d printing.

I printed a few domos based on racing4micro's Domo Keychain, and a friend of mine suggested it would make a perfectly sized beer bottle opener!

There are 2 versions: One with a 6mm dia keychain hole and one without. Happy printing!

This ring adds +1 to your fire resistance, and adds +3 to fortitude! Smithe using moon-forged metals only :P

I was practicing my surface modeling techniques and decided to make a chair :) It's flat on both the left and right so it should be easily printable.

ADDENDUM:

To improve stability, the base has been extended backwards. Still looks beautiful, but should be more sturdy now.

I was playing around with an old 3d modeling software I used years ago, and thought of making a strange wine glass. So here it is, a Tornado within a wine glass. Several derivatives are possible, such as the Tornado embedded within standard cup, etc. Knock yourself out!

Another experiment into utilizing the patterns found in Deus Ex HR. What would a neo-renaissance man use to hold his pencils? A pencil holder of course! (I know the lack of imagination here is glaring)

My friend needed an armature that his camera sight could latch onto. So I designed an armature for him.

But to make it really unique, I added the architectural styling found in Deus Ex Human Revolution. So when anyone sees this, they know it was custom and 3d-printed!

The most interesting result into this experiment, was that the trussed part appeared to perform better in Solidworks stress simulations, as compared to a part made from bulk material.

This explains why a lot of buildings these days are built with these organic-looking trusses, since you can actually tweak the macro-structure to support loads more effectively with less material.

This bracelet is the result of my learning of Solidworks, using some advanced functions, etc :)

It makes use of the Solidworks sweep-with-twist function!
