This is the design we used for the first batch of MakerBots. These are the lasercut design files you will need to make your own if you have access to a laser cutter.

It's a geared calling card! Two slots in the top layer display different information as you turn the smaller gear, and a little window lets you watch the gears mesh.

This is a 4-pin tumbler lock with a key and display case. Insert the key and turn clockwise to get a smiley face!

This is a "radiolaria" sculpture roughly modeled on the drawings of Ernst Haeckel. It has simple icosahedral symmetry, with thirty "spines" radiating from the edges.

This is the skeleton for a basic pentapodal robot.

I'm currently using cheap HS-311 servos for all joints. These don't really provide enough torque for the up/down shoulder joints as currently designed. I plan to shorten those members, and get more powerful servos to support them.

This is a slot-together model of the first stellation of a dodecahedron. The slot sizes are appropriate for "172" illustration board, but you can scale the pieces to construct this model out of other materials.

A birdhouse that I designed over the course of a couple of hours. The entrance has a circular diameter of 1.5". I have no idea if this is actually practical for birds. I just wanted to relive my high school shop class experience.
