The Bionic Potato Project

Ear_04

I found a couple of Mr Potato Head bodies in a box the other day that were missing almost all the parts so I've set out on a quest to design and print replacement parts, as well as completely new parts.
So far it's just the standard ear, a kind of fantasy stye elf like ear (or Vulcan), and but I'll add more as I go.

The "Bionic Potato" name comes from Andrew Plumb aka Clothbot and I thought it was pretty cool!

Extruder Cable Clamp

Since I've got an E-Stop button in the hole that the extruder cable would normally go through I needed some way to secure the cable, since it looked like it could do some damage to the extruder board if it kept bending over like it was.

This is designed to attach to the side of the Makerbot using the Z+ endstop screws, it does fit with the standard screws but using slightly longer ones might be a good idea.

Makerbot Cupcake

Makerbot Cupcake

Inspired by Masked Retriever's Cupcake Cupcake thingiverse.com/thing:410.
Pretty simple print, just a pretty basic cupcake shape with the Makerbot logo on top, I built it a while ago while learning how to work with Solidworks and just printed it the other day.

Also, Clothbot brought up the idea of combining the cupcake with Wizard23's screwable jewellery box thingiverse.com/thing:413 to make a cupcake style box, which I think is a pretty cool idea. I've been playing with that myself but haven't had time to finish it up, once I do I'll post it too.

I've included the .sldprt file for anyone that has Solidworks, in case someone wants to modify the original.
