The bushing has been changed to accept a captive M3 nut. Has not yet been tested.

I made this little guy a while ago and then forgot about it. A recent post on a RepRap forum reminded me of it and that I never posted the dxf. It is an internal screw drive plastruder.

This is the modified Y-stage used for the MakerGear heated build platform. These files may be helpful for botters using or waiting on their HBP.

After posting the photos for the Z timing pulleys yesterday I noticed that, since some of them are orange, they look like little cakes. Soooo, I could not pass up the opportunity to post an actual, working, cupcake timing pulley. The files need some work so I'll upload those later...

All of the idler and timing pulleys seen here were MakerBot printed. And, as soon as the motor pulley can be pried off it will also be replaced.

The flanges are currently being printed separately but will be combined once any kinks have been worked out.

MakerBot Made (using 0.4mm nozzle).

The goal is to be able to drop in an off-the-shelf plastic frosting bag and go. The shaft squeezes the bag and out goes the frosting. This design is functional but still needs work. The metal tip and plastic nozzle are available at hobby and grocery stores. The rest of the stuff (except for the motor) were sourced from my misc. parts bin. Not sure where the gears originated but they shouldn't be hard to find (or replace).

The treads are lasered into the plywood. The squeezing mechanism is new, the frame is derived from Will's.

Had some small pieces of fluorescent acrylic sitting around...decided to turn it into a sweet looking XY platform. Just need to rig up some lights now...

Cupcake constructed from 40-50 year old douglas fir plywood. Named tyger based on the grain color and pattern. Tiger outline cut into mirrored bronze acrylic visible in the rear window.
