I designed this to enable me to attach my DIY Nikon GPS ( cyrozap.com/2011/08/13/diy-nikon-d5100-gps/ ) to my camera so I don't have to hold the module while trying to adjust my zoom.

I haven't tested this with the flash yet, so there might not be enough clearance between the GPS and the flash to allow you to use the flash.

I designed this during Maker Faire NY 2011. I used this as a starting point for another design.

Well, I decided that none of the current iPhone 4 cases available will protect my soon-to-be-received Verizon iPhone adequately, so I'm designing my own case. To do that, though, I had to download the Apple PDF of the technical drawings of the iPhone 4. That is NOT a friendly format for ANY CAD program, so I decided that I would make it more friendly.

FYI: These dimensions may not be entirely accurate. I made most of the holes are larger than the ports they surround because that's the only way making a case would work. I modeled this from the Verizon iPhone's specs so it may not work for AT&T users, but I think I compensated enough (it's really only a difference in the positioning of the mute switch).

DISCLAIMER: Most of the holes (the things sticking out in the STL) are bigger than the features they represent to help with case design--this is not really meant to be a model of an iPhone for illustrative purposes.

I just made this quickly for the "Favorite Robots Design Challenge – Single-Pass" challenge. Picard is my favorite Starship captain (yes, even above Kirk - bit.ly/d36lr2) and he's also my favorite Borg.

The original files were opened in Inventor, modified, opened in AutoCAD, then exported to STL.

This is a work in progress because I have yet to successfully program the ATMega 168.

This is the RepRap/MakerBot Extruder Controller, but without all the extruder-controlling bits. I would love to have a dedicated Unicorn Plotter controller board, but don't want to shell out $45 for one. The schematic just contains all the necessary parts for an Arduino to be controlled and powered over RS485 with two digital I/O ports.

The board file is experimental! It should work, but there's no guarantee.

By the way, this board costs around $20 (including components) to make, but only if it's priced in groups of 10.

I wanted production files, so I made them. I guess I'm making myself known for my production files ;)

As always, if you're having trouble with some of the files, let me know and I'll try to fix it. If you think you can arrange all the pieces better than me, make a derivative and prove it!

This is a replacement wind pennant for the C-vane Wind Pennant (http://c-vane.com). These things break easily, as they are the most fragile part of the assembly. So, instead of paying $35 for a whole new wind pennant, you can just replace the part that broke (or was lost, stolen, etc.)!

Mine broke, so I decided to make good use of my MakerBot (and save a little money) while I learned OpenSCAD.

This is all the parts for a RepRap mini-Mendel arranged into one sheet.

These are all the parts for a mini-Mendel, separated into build plates suitable to be printed on a MakerBot. Most of the parts stay within the 80mm x 80mm boundaries, so you don't have to worry about the Makerbot extruder running into the build platform screws.

If you find an error with a part and you fix it, email me the fixed part at cyrozap AT gmail DOT com. If you can't or don't want to fix the part, just let me know and I'll look into it.

UPDATE: I just added the four x-axis-clamp_4off files to the production set and to the new single-sheet of parts file. You can find the new "Mini-Mendel in One Sheet" file at thingiverse.com/thing:2606.

I'll post my fixed production files here as I find and fix the broken ones.

Edit: Spacexula has now officially posted my fixes for #3 and #6, so you can just download them from the original page, no need to replace them as they are the same files as posted here! I heard #17 has a few problems, so I'll look in to that and post my fix when I have one.

An updated version of the Awesome Pick that is actually printable. I don't play guitar (only trumpet, I'm working on making a printable mouthpiece), but my brother will certainly appreciate the free picks.

I fixed it so it is right-way-up and scaled correctly.

I modded the original to be printable. All I really did was lop off one end. I haven't sent it through MeshLab yet so there are a few errors, but it should be fine.
