The result, after a number of design iterations, is this bottle which now inhabits our bathroom.  <br />
<br />
This dispenser is designed to reduce waste in a number of ways.  First, it is easily refillable, and so can be used for many years.  Second, as the pump is turned, liquid soap spills from the spout back into a hole in the bottle, thus recycling any drips.  Third, this design makes it easy to get as much or as little soap as you want, while commercial soap pumps often dispense more soap than necessary with a single squeeze.

Enthousiastic about OpenSCAD but somewhat frustrated by the limitations of its language, I've worked on an alternative using Javascript. It's free, completely open source, still seriously under construction, based on Evan Wallace's CSG.js library and can be used from within the Chrome browser.<br />

The benefits over openSCAD are mainly in the language itself: you can use dynamic arrays for example, and solids can be stored in variables.<br />

Here are 15 basic printable (without support) shapes than can be produced in 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 100 sided versions.<br />
That's over 300 basic shapes before scaling, chopping, merging, etc.<br />
I've posted up the 100 sided versions as STLs and some examples of the others so that you can just print them if you don't feel like playing with OpenSCAD. If you can't find the one you want, let me know the shape and how many sides and I'll pop up an STL for you.<br />

No more ugly bolt holes!  This was designed along the same lines as the screwless cube gears: <a href="http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10483" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">thingiverse.com/thing:10483</a>, and in fact uses the exact same center block (though the pins are slightly shorter).  <br />

<br />
The size has been increased a bit from the previous version to accommodate the printed pins, so it now measures 100mm across when assembled.  Since everything is now printable, it should be easy to scale this design up or down as you see fit.  At this size it took me ~6 hours of printing time on my TOM.

This is that fix. Then I saw Upgrayedd's print of V2.2 and realized how I could place the pieces better (with holes facing out)<br />

The recorder is one of the oldest woodwind instruments. In the hands of an experienced player it creates a sound synonymous with Renaissance music. Often used in elementary music classes because of it's ease of operation. With 3D printing everyone can have one of their own to make beautiful music on... or wailing screeches if they never got past "hot crossed buns".

The original is located in central Moscow. It’s funny but the bust and the museum are embedded in a newly build former KGB buildings.  The museum is actually located in KGB! <br />

I just liked the sculpture which is quite brutal. I like Mayakovskiy as well.<br />
<br />
Since Mayakovski committed a suicide in 1930 ( I could be mistaken with a date), I made auxiliary model with poor guy’s head blowing away. I am afraid tiny scull connectors may not be possible to replicate.

I took photos and uploaded them using the Photofly software at <a href="http://labs.autodesk.com/utilities/photo_scene_editor/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">labs.autodesk.com/utilities/photo_scene_editor/</a> to create an .OBJ file. I then closed up any holes using NetFabb Studio's repair function and then cropped and resized the model in Blender to make a printable bust.<br />

For years people have made ties out of wood, and I adopted the principle for 3d printing. Could it be a world first?<br />
<br />
The basic idea is to take a 3d model, cut holes in it for string and then cut it into smaller pieces so the tie will bend.<br />
<br />
I'm not overly satisfied with how the ties sits around the neck, perhaps someone has an idea for a better solution?<br />
<br />
Also, any special ideas for a tie, just make a comment and I'll give it a go. :)

These models are as close to 1:67 scale as I can manage, working from various drawings and dimensions.  The Lunar Ascent Module is courtesy of NASA: <a href="http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/3d_resources/models.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">nasa.gov/multimedia/3d_resources/models.html</a>, which has a lot of free 3D models of spacecraft.  I simplified it and made it manifold using Meshlab and Netfabb's cloud service.
