It's a 3d scan of the Tickle-me-Elmo doll that I encased in Carbonite earlier this year.  The side panels didn't come out well in the scan, so I digitally removed them and replaced them with the stls from the Han Solo panels I've previously uploaded.  <br />

This project is going to be at Maker Faire in California, and I need your help to get some funding for the Road to Maker Faire Challenege!  <br />

Courney and her husband explained to me that blind people will usually touch someone's face to see what they look like, but it doesn't really work on themselves because of the feedback they get from their face.  I was able to scan and print Courtney so she should see what she looked like for the very first time.<br />

It is a much more accurate replica that the one previously posted.  It was designed from scratch, only using reference images of screen used blasters.  It's fun to play with, take apart, and assemble.  Most importantly, it was designed for 3d printing, so it's got curves in all the right places.  <br />

This blaster was made at MarsCon this weekend.  They told guests we weren't allowed to bring realistic-looking weapons into the convention, so I didn't.  I just brought my 3d printer in and made the blaster there...<br />
