The SKP is broken :'(

Please re-upload!

I printed these and I am finding that they pose a real danger. One day, I found that my clip was in 4 pieces, because the clip had broke off.

This is a great part, but it definately needs some renforcement at the top surface where the plastic meets the metal. It basially needs to be thicker. My other clip broke off quite easily by flexing it from its side.

Working on the SKP righ now to correct.

For now, for my own protection, I have reverted to my stock piece.

Will update soon.

Beautiful Pawl!

That LCP is a great little carry gun, but like waltorg mentioned its all business and is not particularly enjoyable to practice with. I only take it to the range to make sure the laser is sighted in... I think this might make a lot of difference.. I can't wait to print it and see how it feels!
8-)

Some advice, this is a print that made me wish slic3r had a "cool" feature. It's printed in a sloped shape, and where the triangle comes to a peak can get kinda droopy when printed without the "cool" feature.

Awesome brother. The tiny LCP kicks like a mule so I rarely take it to the range, its just not fun to practice. Just picked up a Sig P238 becuase of it, so hopefully with this little gem she will get to range more ofter. I know another botter with a LCP and I know he will want this also. Well Done.

Nice design. Thanks!

thats dangerous! *DONT_KNOW*

It's a piece of plastic. What's so dangerous about it?

In all seriousness, what is the danger that you see in this? I know there's controversy when it comes to weapons parts, but if you see a genuine safety risk from a Thingiverse object, please let the community know so we have an opportunity to fix/improve it. I can't see how a grip extension could present a danger to the user, but if you see something the rest of us don't, please clarify.

Thanks.

It's actually not dangerous at all.

Funny...I just took a CCW class with my Glock 19, and was thinking this would be a good part to make for the same purpose. Any chance you could upload your CAD files so I could derive from yours?

I added the design, but it's pretty messy. It might not be very easy to make larger for your glock.
