Description

This is a set of shelves to display Good Smile Company Nendoroids (or other figures/items that fit on a 7cm deep shelf)
Step height is also 7cm to preserve aesthetics.
It's 34cm wide, so easily fits into an Ikea Detolf glass display case.

This is designed to be created in 5mm thick material - I used clear, green edged acrylic for mine, to match the green edged glass of the Detolf. I'd be interested to see what it looks like in laser ply though! :)

This can be cut from 1 A2 sheet of Acrylic, or 2 A3 sheets (4 crossmembers on 1 sheet, the side panels and the last crossmember on the other)

Instructions

Cut all the parts.
With a file or sandpaper, roughen up the surfaces of the tabs that are in contact with the cutouts on the sides (to increase the security of the glued joints)
Glue with hot glue, or for a neater finish use Super/Crazy/other glues. Use corner clamps with cloth (to prevent scratching the acrylic) to hold them together while the glue cures.
Put the shelves in place and start displaying your stuff!

This makes me think we need a printable Hinamatsuri set.

Definitely... :) I could imagine all sorts of cool dioramas to be made with lasers and the right acrylic colours and laser ply.

Similarly, I also wondered about cutting the same hexagonal cut outs as the never Nendoroid bases, so the stands could plug directly into the shelves - making the figures even less liable to fall over (not that they do anyway...) the only problem is that I don't have access to my own laser cutter, so I had to keep this first one pretty simple...
