Saw the movie 25 years ago, loved it, found deep meaning in it, and always remembered it. Found it on Netflix a couple years ago and was so excited to watch it again. Sat through it thinking, "my god this is the most godawfully bad movie I've ever seen!" That's what 25 years will do to you, I guess. :)

Poor Sean. He must have owed a lot of back taxes or something. :)

The extruder is good!
The filament is evil!

Thanks,
I'm probably one of a few who
liked this very bad movie.

I thought the flying stone idol head was just so
bizarre (not that the rest of the film wasn't)
a really good bad movie for those who like bad sci-fi.

It's an EXCELLENT movie! I saw it in the theatre on its release (came out at the same time as The Exorcist so was completely overlooked), I own it on disk and have seen it numerous times. Deals with some timely and timeless themes, has great visuals and great costumes, and the script and acting are fine. Does drag on just a bit prior to the climax (the tabernacle sequence) but for the most part it's a sci-fi classic imho. Thank you for posting this :)

well, It is something of a guilty pleasure.
I agree there are some "timely and timeless themes".
It has some really thought provoking imagery.

I made a model of the idol, so it made an impression on me.
Glad you liked the model and movie.

I saw it in the theater as a child!

I saw the promotion for this at the 1975 new york
Star Trek convention.
(that's uber nerd cred!)

I love this movie!! Thank you so much for giving me something to print from it.

No Problem!

this film was a shame for sean connery ;)

A really dreadfully bad movie!
I did find some of the imagery interesting.
the head of Zardoz flying in the sky was a strong image.
