Summary

Fan blowers are awesome, I wanted one for my i3, but nobody had made this particular mount yet! So, I borrowed a nice looking blower-fan, but made a mount compatible with Greg's Wade extruder and a 40mm fan.

Hey thanks, found using this and making some thin shims helps in making quick height adjustments when using different jheads!

Hello.. very good design. I need to make some changes to fit my extruder that is customized. Could you share your design? Thanks in advance!! Everton

What size fan is this for?

40mm! Sorry for the wait, I wasn't able to find it on my phone. The key: Looking at the fan I remixed from ;). Adding it to the proper description now.

Hi, do you have the source file?, i would like to add a second mount on one of the sides

I do on my home computer, I'll post it later, but it's made in Autodesk Inventor, not OpenSCAD as so many of these are. Do you have a preferred format?

The current one I consider to be on the "front" (I'm fixing my printer or I'd have a photo to show already). Do you mean you'd want one on the back, too? Or two side by side?

oh, then, i might be asking too much, but would you mind adding an aditional fan mounting bracket to the left side?

no, its another one perpendicular to the front one, on one of the "shorter sides". The idea is to have one fan blowing to the hotend isolator and the front one to the printed part.

Interesting. This current arm extends out 20mm @ 45 degrees, do you have a certain location/angle you'd prefer for this 2nd mount?

right side!

thanks!!!!, beers on me!

I'll try to do this tomorrow.

hi!, have you had a chance to do it?

Sorry, been really busy, and my printer needs a lot of work, this has fallen to back burner.
