Summary

This thing is a collection of tiny bling for the miniatures game Flames of War. Ironically I am not even a player though I do love tanks and that is how I got on this track. As you could see from things that I have made there are some tanks there! That led to me designing some things that take advantage of my Ultimaker 2 and the interchangeable nozzles that I have installed from 3DSolex. If you have an Ultimaker 2 this upgrade is a game changer. I have nozzles from 0.15mm to 0.8mm, with dedicated nozzles for various materials, and can change from one to another in about a minute.

Here are the models in this collection:

  1. Sign posts. Have four varients though more could be done easily (1, 2, 3, and 5 arrows).
  2. Tables. One large and one small.
  3. Radio on a small table.
  4. Tools, hammer, axe, shovel, and pick.
  5. Oil drum.
  6. Shell crates. One open showing shells with lid, one closed, and a stack of them,
  7. Dragons tooth tank barrier
  8. Crates. Large and smaller and stacks of four different configurations (only one shown).
  9. Belgian gate barrier.
  10. Panzerfaust, bazooka, bazooka shell bags
  11. Dug-in marker.

Have recently added a set of six broken DragonsTeeth and a CzechHedgehog. Not sure about the latter but guess the rough edges could be seaweed or moss?

Notes:

There is a caveat on these things! Namely that as I mention above they were designed for the 0.25mm nozzles on my Ultimaker 2 and some were printed with a layer height of 0.08mm. Most will print with a layer height of 0.1mm and when I printed them with the standard Ultimaker 2 nozzle (0.4mm), with an extrusion width of 0.3mm) most printed better than I expected (see included picture). So the caveat is...these are little itty bitty things and may be a pain to print!

The Bazooka and Panzerfaust both require support. Nothing else does.

How I Designed This

These things were designed with Sketchup and the source is included.

Very nice! Somehow I missed this; I saw your second release, and had to backtrack to find this one. Great job! Thanks for the hard work.

Why don't you add the panzerfausts to this collection?

Them and some bazookas are in line to be added.
