Description

One problem with Thingiverse so far - there is no spoon. I fixed that, and now we have a nice rice spoon.

just great , also the design ;)

If they print RepRaps, their friends can even dispense with the Makerbot component :)

You realise we're enabling a whole generation of japanese lock-in kids here? All they'll ever need is a Makerbot and regular pizza deliveries!

Instructions

Print with a nozzle width of < 0.7mm so you get at least 2 layers all around the spoon. If you want a kink in the handle, heat it up over the steam from a kettle, administer first aid to burnt hand, and bend the spoon at the neck.

@jrombousky, I think you kinda can in the "I made one" section. The clear plastic is PLA, or polylactic acid. It's a bioplastic that's biodegradable and recyclable. Makerbot should have some soon, or I can ship from New Zealand.

I think they need a button to say "model inspired by", because there is no reason for me to make a fork and knife without seeing this. Hey mods, can we get an inspired by button?

Hey vik, where are you getting that nice clear plastic from? I want to get my hands on some.
