these are printed versions of old school tools, for cutting in the circular recees that the rossette in a guitar gets set into. well tested by me. note that the plane STL is an upgrade to the one in the photo. for cutters i used a reground knife from a flex cut knife and narrow chisel. 3mm screws and nuts are used to lock it all into place. good luck!
Print all 4 parts. you'll need 5 12mm screws and nuts. The connecting rod on mine are made from 1/4" square hardwood, 150mm long. The stiffer the better. It is glued into the knife bodies with a touch of glue. i print in PLA and use a glue called Weldon #16 to glue Pla with. Super strong. There are two screws in the plane body. one to press the blade sieways into the body and the other to lock the blade in place. this is so that you can use a wider or narrower blade if needed, given your particular rosette.
