Featured Thing!

Description

The Contraptor project is an opensource hardware prototyping / building framework created by myself and Vitaly Mankevich. You can read more about the Contraptor movement here:
Contraptor.org

This piece is an Dremel Flex mount. This is going to be used a the Z-Axis for a CNC machine. This mount is a VERY snug fit. This will not move at all. You have to slide the flex connector up so the top slide its then the rest will just "fit".

Well you can only take my word for it but this thing is really tight. I used a digital caliper to design all the grasping components so its pretty accurate. Let me know if you use it! Also, shortly if you are unable to fab the contraptor parts over at www.contraptor.org we will soon be selling kits and individual parts. So check back.

I was actually in the hardware store today looking at Dremils (i've misplaced mine), and running htrough my head about making an attachment to clasp the rotary drill or flex attachment

Instructions

The material I used was 1/4 black plexi-glass. I have included the Contraptor Logo. While it would be nice to leave it, should you feel like you have to remove it go ahead :)
