Description

This is a 2.5cc gas RC engine. This is also a complete parts motor that I have been working on for some time now. Some parts need supports and others you can get away with not using any supports, I'll leave that up to you. You will need to sand the parts down to fit so the better your 3D Printer is calibrated the less you'll need to sand. Have fun with printing this if anyone will that is. Mine is printing right now and I'll update it with photos when I'm done.

this is awesome man!

Very nice, GWJax. No, I don't suppose the thing would run for very long at all, Zh40r... LOL!

I'm very interested to see how this turns out! and how long it can run for before the internal heat causes problems with the ABS... maybe try using these parts to create a sand or other heat-proof material mold and then cast in metal?

Yes you can make a sand mold cast of these parts but I did not mean for this motor to be ran, it's just a model that will move like the real one. Yes you can print out the standard plastic part to replace your broken ones with no problem like the pull cord handle or anything to do with the pull crank case which are made of plastic but the metal parts like I said are only for looks and a cool looking model to play with.
