Description

I wanted to raise my Mendel to clear the z-axis gears but I didn't want to take it apart so I designed these push-fit feet. Print four pieces and push into place. If you want it to be permanent, just put some glue. Acetone works well for ABS.

I was using rubber stoppers before and it was actually worst since the whole Mendel was vibrating more. Using rigid feet reduced the vibration a lot. I think it would probably be better if the feet are mounted on the countertop but I don't want to drill holes on the counter.

What if the feet are attached to a board, such as plywood or MDF, then that could be clamped to the counter?

I'm trying to think of an easy way to mount our in construction Prusa to a board of some sort so it can be lifted and moved easier.

Exactly what I needed. Many thanks!
