Servo Suspension System by guibot Oct 30, 2009

Featured Thing!

Description

SSS (servo suspension system) is designed to support standard servo motors and act as a basic suspension. It is still a work in progress and has not been tested yet.

Will update results soon.

endeed a major upgrade! this was my first print ever made a couple of years ago, never worked on it since then!! thank you for commenting ;)

I agree; very cool design.

It might reduce unwanted motion if you used one of each on each servo, so the "springs" cross. This would still allow it to go up/down, but motion in the other two axes would be restricted. Of course, it would also be twice as stiff, but the stiffness might need to be adjusted as it is (depending on the mass being suspended).

Holes should be added for screws.
