Māori Poi

Māori Poi by vik Nov 5, 2009

Description

Pairs of poi are swung around by Māori in a creative way, usually in rhythm and particularly well (I think) by the ladies. Traditionally made by stuffing bundles of native flax, these days kids make them from plastic shopping bags. As disposable shopping bags are a bad idea, I've made some that can be raprapped in two halves and stuck together.

Instructions

Knot the chord and put it in before you stick the two halves together. If you're using clear PLA to print with, clear RTV (silicone) might be a useful adhesive but I just heat them up and weld them together.
