Reading Fighting Fantasy books on the bus is a pain because you need to roll 2 6-sided dice. Sure it's got a substitute in it's pages, but it doesn't really feel random to flip pages like that. I wanted a better solution. This is it.

Instructions
You will need the spring from a ball point pen or mechanical pencil to complete this build.
Refer to the render for part placement if needed. Note, all pieces except the bottom are printed upside down for printability reasons.
1. Place the gears in the holes.
2. Put the spring in the drive shaft.
3. Place the drive shaft in the groove placing the spring in the hole in the bottom.
4. Snap the top into the holes in the bottom.
5. Glue the 2 dials into the gears.
6. Press the button and release to stop the spin.

Pretty clever! Reminds me of those spinners on the old Flipsiders games, the little folding magnetic board games in the shape of audio cassettes.
