Instructions
Screw some M8 threaded rod directly into the base and the spindle (a little more than 200-something-mm from the base to the spindle and not much to make the feet of the base)
Eventually add a "support corner" on the rods ends to protect your desk from the scratches.
Clip your usual heavy duty spool and let it feed your hungry little bot.
