Description

This is a mount for a YAESU FT-857 head unit for the dash board of your car

If you happen to be a HAM , and you have a makerbot/reprap ( i'm sure there is more than one of us) and a FT-857 then you are SET!

This is the working alpha cut , I have some more mods to do

You have no idea what Ham rado is all about! What an idiot to make such a statement.

Hey man, ham radio is a lot of fun. Digital guys need analog guys too, you know.

If you happen to be a HAM - you need to get a life :-P

Instructions

I experimented with part welding with this one.

Print out the 5 parts and bond them together with a soldering iron by plunging the soldering iron into the plastic. I used a 40W iron I bought specifically for plastic work so as not to gunk up my good one.

I went massively overboard with the joins , one at each corner would have been fine.

Trim surface blobbies with a knife and watch your fingers.
