Sir(s), my hat is off to you. Working for me on blender 2.65 like a beautiful dream. What's that you say? It will also playback the print as an animation using the timeline? Yes please!
This changes everything for me. Productivity increased 400%!!! Seriously, thank you.
I've tried this add-on with windows blender 2.63. I also get errors when importing this...

But it still mostly works, although the ears look a little broken. I've attached a render.
I'm excited about Slic3r, but I can't seem to find any program that will render its Gcodes. I was hoping this would be it, but the only Gcode it seems to be able to render is a calibration cube sliced by Skeinforge. Everything else errors out.
I'm using OSX 10.7 and Blender 2.61. I'll see if I can downgrade to 2.59 and see if that helps.
Seems to work on OSX 2.61 64 and 32 bits; some models throw an error, but many of them work fine and it's SUPER cool to see the animation play :)
(Now if only it animated along the motion paths on each layer like the real toolhead! ;) )
Brlliant! Also works with blender 2.59 and Mac OS X... Thanks!
Sorry, dont work with blender 32bit/64bit 2.59/2.6 Windows 7 64bit :(
Ohh, and - Is there a chance you will add a support feature for a second extruder in Slic3r?
Hi.
When I try to import the add-on (the py file) to blender, it crashes and I need to reinstall it.

Does this work only with "stock Makerbot GCode files". I slice with slic3r.
I'm running blender 2.59 on win 7 x64 and downloaded the add-on you posted here, but i'm getting a warning sign that says "may not work", on the blender add-ons tab. Not to mention that I tried to open a file (g code from slic3r) but it doesn't even let me see them... any ideas? is there a procedure to open files? thank's!
